Kindergarten Sneak-a-Peek and Orientation

Friday, August 30th: K Sneak A Peek: 10:30-11:30 a.m.

Please park at Tucker Field and walk to the school. Please be sure to observe all fire lanes and no parking zones.

At 10:30, K parents and students will meet in the cafeteria (in the Transitional Building). After a brief welcome, students will be collected by the K teachers and will begin an adventure of meeting each K teacher and “sneaking a peek” into each K classroom. SPACE IS LIMITED TO 2 ADULTS PER STUDENT. NO SIBLINGS PLEASE.

Parents will remain in the cafeteria for a time to mingle and hear more about our school from various professionals.

At 11:20, students will return to you.

Tuesday, September 3rd: K Orientation: 10:00-10:45

Please keep in mind that this is the first day of school for students at CHS as well as our Grades 1-5, so there will be a great deal of activity first thing in the morning. We will not be able to let guests in the building any earlier than 10:00.

At 10:00, K parents and students will meet in the cafeteria (in the new building). K teachers will present a brief orientation of classroom curriculum and expectations. This session will be followed by students and parents visiting the classroom with your child’s teacher. SPACE IS LIMITED TO 2 ADULTS PER STUDENT. NO SIBLINGS PLEASE.

This session will end at 10:45 as all K teachers will be supporting students in Grade 1 as they transition into their day.
