Welcome to the CSA Page!
We are changing how we use this page for the 2026-2027 School Year! Due to changes in security preferences by the district, we encourage you to use Parent Square, Facebook group, or emails for detailed information on upcoming events. We will also be creating a CSA calendar that you will be invited to with more information on upcoming events, fundraisers, and deadlines (in order to reduce public posting). Feel free to contact webmaster Janine O’Neil through the Facebook group for more information or if you are interested in helping with the page.
What is the CSA?
The CSA is the Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) for Community School. We raise money each year to provide field trips and enrichment as well as host/co-host fun events like Color Run, Cake Wars, Variety Show and Field Day! We also support the 4th Grade Play, help plan 5th Grade celebration and provide Dolphin Folders and agendas for the kids each year. And we provide special thanks to teachers for Teachers Appreciation Week. Rarely, we vote on other one-time requests/needs for the school, but most of our work is events and fundraisers for the kids.

How can I help?
Each year we have an estimated budget to make sure our kids get all the field trips, enrichment, and events we have planned for them. We need to raise that money through fundraisers and Direct Contribution. You can make a direct contribution here . . . . Direct Contribution
During the year our biggest fundraisers include Mrs. Fields and Color Run! Your participation matters! Other smaller fundraisers like restaurant nights are all important. Every dollar counts!
If you want to volunteer, there are opportunities throughout the year from School Picture Day, Lunch Help, Book Fair, and many more! The Facebook group is the best place to find all these!
Interested in joining the CSA? Members must attend monthly meetings and chair at least one event/fundraiser. Some meetings are on Zoom and some are in person. To learn more about chairing you can look at our list of current chairpersons here . . . CSA Officers and Committees
