Keep your eye on all the products you use each day – many have Box Tops! A list of products can be found here. Ask your neighbors, grandparents and other relatives to help. You aren’t asking anyone to buy anything, just to save a valuable piece of paper from the recycling bin!
As you collect box tops, trim them and tape or glue them to the Box Top Sheet. When your child’s sheet is complete, fill out the top portion and return it to his/her teacher. Then download another form and start again. We will keep track of your submissions. We hope this project is an enjoyable way for kids to help participate in raising money to help fund the many enriching programs at Community School.
The magazine sale will continue throughout the year. 40% of the sales go to the CSA for Community School. Also, the CSA purchases classroom magazines for our teachers at a great discount through the magazine sale. Click on the logo below to be taken to the QSP website to order directly. Or enter www.gaschoolstore.com. Our school number is: 2833101. The shopping cart on this site will keep track of our total purchases and how much will be going to Community School. Save your empty inkjet and laserjet printer cartridges and old cell phones – they have value!
Used cartridges from your inkjet/laser printers and used cell phones can be collected from homes, parents’ work, co-workers and local businesses. Cartridges and cell phones should then be brought to a collection box at school in a plastic bag to prevent leakage. The cartridges and cell phones are shipped to our recycling company, and our school earns up to $3.00 per inkjet cartridge and $2.25 per qualifying cell phone. More information can be found here. There is a gray Recycling Collection Bin for used printer cartridges and cell phones in the lobby of school. For more information, please contact Resa Broadbent
