Anyone interested in volunteering at Community School – whether in the classroom, after school, on field trips, etc – needs to have a background investigation completed each year.
You need to update your background check each SCHOOL YEAR so make sure you completed your background check for 2023-2024 school year. The newest version of the form can be downloaded below.
How to get your background check:
- Download the form below
- Fill out and sign
- Attach a copy of your photo identification (must include birthday)
- Bring $5 cash or a check for $5 made out to Cumberland Police Department
- Drop it off at the Cumberland Police Station (front desk)
- They will contact you when your form is approved!
- School will get a copy from police within 48 hours, you do not need to provide a copy.
