From our School Nurse Teacher, Mrs. Jacinto
The flu is widespread now throughout the US. Here is some helpful information. Please let me know if you discover an increase of absences in your classroom. Also I am happy to come into any classrooms and do some re-teaching on germs and hand washing.

The school dentist is coming to the school on Friday, February 2nd, to perform dental exams on all students that have not returned the yellow dental card or a note indicating that they are seen by their own dentist. Please send in a signed dental card or a parent note that states that your child is seen regularly by a dentist.
Grade 5 PE Field Trip

On behalf of Rhode Island Women’s Basketball, we will be attending the annual Education Day at the

Ryan Center on Wednesday, January 31, 2018 as they take on Davidson at 11:00 AM! This is an exciting day of education and basketball as each student who attends the game will be able to experience a collegiate basketball game free of charge and receive an educational workbook filled with questions, games and more! Additionally, URI will be running educational based promotions throughout the game. Once the game has concluded each school will be invited to join the URI women’s basketball program on the court for a photo with the team! Schools in attendance will receive complimentary tickets and will be permitted to bring in their own lunches into the arena.

CSA Meeting, Wednesday, January 17th @ 7 p.m. Please use the back parking lot.
